Volunteer Needed for our Publicity Chair

Duties will include:

• Prepare and distribute meeting Press Releases.
• Other press releases – election of new officers, etc.
• Distribute meeting posters at the meetings and throughout the community.
• Other publicity efforts as they arise.

We bring exciting presenters who speak on timely technology topics to our meetings. Local and national speakers from Alaska Communications Systems, Apple, Internal Revenue Service, TelAlaska, Hewlett-Packard, Integrity Solutions, GeoNorth, Chugach Electric, Information Integrity, Mercury Data Group, Microsoft, GCI, Adobe, Corel, E-Terra, Alaska State Library System, Small Business Administration, and many others have been featured.

The meetings typically begin with a short question and answer session. If you have had trouble with your computer, a peripheral, or software application, or you want technology references, you can use this opportunity to find others that may have advice for you.
